Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate scheduling and transmission of drivers and equipment for transport of materials at multiple facilities. You will ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and communicate with the Logistics Manager and drivers.

In this role you will manage DOT compliance, monitor equipment utilization, and support internal controls while adapting to peak workloads and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and scrap industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests and pickup specifications.
• Confer with drivers to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
• Relay information to or from the Logistics Manager and other Dispatchers.
• Organize the road testing requirements for newly hired drivers.
• Monitor driver electronic logs to ensure DOT compliance.
