Responsibilities
- Perform expanded clinical duties per state regs (restorations, polish, sealants, fluoride, impressions)
- Assist the dentist during restorative, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure efficient turnover
- Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions (digital or traditional)
- Fabricate provisional restorations and check bite
- Record patient histories and treatment plans in dental software
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
