GENTLE DENTIST is seeking an EFDA-certified dental assistant in Knightstown, Indiana. You will support clinicians by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking impressions, and assisting with procedures such as crowns and dentures to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment. Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests as directed.
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, completes preliminary Impressions, makes and polishes temporary crowns, removal temporary crowns, and fitting of permanent crowns and bridges, adjusting occlusions and interproximal areas, application of sealants, and adjusting partials and dentures.
