Carolina Smiles Family Dentistry in West Columbia, SC is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) for a 4-day work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Compensation ranges between $28–$32 per hour. EFDA and N₂O certifications are required; 1+ year of dental assisting experience is preferred.

Eaglesoft experience is a plus, bilingual applicants welcome. The role involves assisting with 4-handed dentistry, radiographs, infection control, and patient comfort.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome, prepare, and care for patients throughout their visit.
• Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry and expanded functions.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as permitted by certification.
• Perform expanded-function duties within your scope of practice.
• Monitor and assist with N₂O sedation.
