Qualifications

• Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) credential.
• Proven experience in dental assisting within general or pediatric dentistry.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Open Dental, Dentrix, or Epic; medical coding experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform expanded functions such as coronal polishing and temporary crowns.
• Assist dentists during general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Operate X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and imaging devices with strict infection control."
• Take vital signs and update medical history in the EHR (Open Dental) accurately.
• Manage dental records, medical documentation, coding, and HIPAA compliance.
