Job summary

Heartland Dental-supported Columbus Pike Dental Care is seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support the clinical treatment of patients. You will take and develop X-rays, organize lab equipment, and help the dentist provide high-quality care while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have current EFDA certification in Ohio, strong communication and organizational skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have EFDA certification in Ohio.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Excellent patient care and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Assist dentist during procedures and emergencies.
• Maintain and organize lab equipment and supplies.
• Support dentist in managing patient schedule and comfort.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies.
