Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Leader to own the strategy and delivery of our Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) ecosystem, including pilot-facing applications and mobile platforms.

You will lead product teams, set vision, and partner with Flight Operations, IT, pilots, and vendors to drive improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will combine strong product leadership with technical understanding, operational awareness, and people leadership

Qualifications

• Strong product leadership with technical acumen and people management experience.
• Ability to align stakeholders across Flight Operations, IT, pilots, and vendors.
• Experience shaping roadmaps, budgets, and governance for complex pilot-facing software.

Responsibilities

• Lead product teams responsible for the strategy, development, deployment, support, and continuous improvement of mission-critical pilot-facing Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) applications and mobile platforms.
• Establish and execute product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmaps aligning business, operational, technology, and user needs.
• Partner with Flight Ops leadership, Delta IT, pilots and stakeholders to identify opportunities, gather feedback, and deliver solutions.
• Own prioritization across the EFB portfolio, balancing risk, regulatory requirements, tech debt, and business value.
• Drive product planning activities including quarterly increments, annual planning, roadmap and release governance.
• Develop business cases and investment strategies for executive decisions on product priorities and modernization.
• Manage relationships with key vendors, including contract negotiations, SLAs, evaluations, and governance.
• Ensure operational readiness and reliability of pilot tech platforms, including continuity planning and incident response.
• Monitor product performance via metrics and adoption trends; use data to drive improvements.
• Champion user-centered design by incorporating pilot feedback into strategy and delivery decisions.
• Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and engineering to meet security, performance, and compliance standards.
• Communicate strategy, roadmap progress, risks, and decisions to leaders and build alignment.
• Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of product managers and technologists.
