Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of an EEG technician educational program is preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• 2 years experience as an EEG technician required.
• Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology preferred.
• ABRET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and multiple sleep latency EEGs.
• Records electrical activity of the brain to study epilepsy and localize lesions.
• Performs clerical duties and participates in CQI activities.
