Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago seeks an EEG Technician for per diem/as-needed coverage. You will perform EEGs including ambulatory and sleep latency studies, recording brain activity to aid in epilepsy localization, while supporting clerical duties and CQI initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years EEG experience, and BCLS certification; an advanced degree or ABRET credentials are preferred. Per diem shift is days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of educational program for EEG technicians preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• 2 yrs experience as an EEG technician required.
• Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology preferred.
• ABRET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and sleep latency EEGs.
• Records electrical activity of the brain to study epilepsy and localize lesions.
• Performs clerical duties and participates in CQI/quality improvement activities.
