Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited neurophysiology technologist program or equivalent training experience.
• One year of clinical EEG experience at a hospital with outpatient and inpatient services.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform electroencephalographic, electromyographic, or evoked potential studies.
• Take medical histories related to neurological diagnoses and prepare patients for EDX studies.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment, select electrode combinations, and ensure quality recordings by identifying artifacts.
• Communicate with the technical director about daily operations and contribute to program development.
