Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited neurophysiology technologist program or equivalent training.
• One (1) year of clinical EEG experience at a hospital with outpatient and inpatient services.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within 6 months of hire date.
• Must be board certified in appropriate function within two (2) years of hire date.

Aufgaben

• Take medical histories related to neurological diagnosis and prepare patients for EDX studies.
• Apply electrodes to predetermined positions and check their performance.
• Calibrate and adjust apparatus, replace faulty components as needed.
• Select electrode combinations to define focal abnormalities during examinations.
• Interpret graphic output, observe artifacts, and designate abnormal clinical manifestations.
• Communicate with the technical director regarding daily operations.
• Assist with program development as needed.
