Job summary

The Neuron Clinic Gp in San Diego, CA, is seeking a part-time or hourly-based neurodiagnostic technologist with extensive EEG experience and familiarity with Cadwell equipment. Candidates must be REEGT certified and able to travel to Chula Vista, Escondido, and Temecula.

Applicants should have strong critical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Nerve conduction studies experience is a plus, and graduates of accredited Neurodiagnostic

Qualifications

• Setup, operate and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs.
• Perform equipment diagnostics.
• Keep inventory of EEG supplies.
• Must travel to Chula Vista, Escondido and Temecula.
• Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT).
• Experience with nerve conduction studies preferred but not required.
• Graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs.
• Perform equipment diagnostics and monitor quality.
• Maintain EEG supplies inventory and ordering.
• Travel to Chula Vista, Escondido and Temecula as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate REEGT certification and professional conduct.

Skill needed are:

• Setup, operate and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs
• Perform equipment diagnostics
• Keeping inventory of EEG supplies
• Must be able to travel to Chula Vista, Escondido and Temecula.
• Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Calm and compassionate
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience performing nerve conduction studies according to AAET standard is preferred but it is not required.
• Graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program is preferred.
