St. Mary’s Hospital - Kankakee is seeking an EEG Technician to perform standard EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and sleep EEGs. You will record brain activity to study epilepsy and localize lesions, while also handling clerical duties and contributing to CQI initiatives.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an EEG program (preferred), current BCLS, and 2 years' EEG experience (preferred). ABRET certification is preferred; compensation is discussed during hire.
Performs EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and multiple sleep latency EEGs. Responsible for recording electrical activity of the patient's brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders and localizing lesions in the cerebrum. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities.

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.25. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
