St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks an EEG Technologist to perform EEGs in the lab and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the ICU. You will record brain electrical activity, document findings, and assist with minor equipment repairs.
Shifts include rotating 8-hour days and on-call weekends. Responsibilities include gathering patient history, explaining procedures, obtaining artifacts, monitoring during procedures, and training new staff under supervision.
Works under minimal supervision using electroencephalograph to measure and record the brain’s electrical activity, performing EEG’s in the Laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the Intensive and critical care units. Performs auditory and visual evoked potential tests. Observes the patient and keeps a careful record of his/her behavior. Responsible for minor equipment repair. Able to work various shifts during hours of lab operation M- F 7a- 530p and On Call shifts during off hours, including weekends.
