Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist - EEG for PRN/part-time coverage. Under neurologist supervision, you perform neurophysiology studies, set up electrodes, monitor safety, and ensure high-quality EEG, EP, IOM, and NCS testing within established protocols.

Strong independence, teamwork and basic Windows skills are required. EEG certification is required by hire or within 2 years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EEG Certification required at time of hire or within two years of hire.
• Experience in neurodiagnostic testing preferred across EEG, EP, IOM, LTM, NCS.

Responsibilities

• Operate neurodiagnostic equipment per specifications and produce quality studies.
• Maintain infection control and safe practices; document and log patients.
• Perform electrode placement, artifact identification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure accurate patient records and proper study documentation.
• Attend department meetings and participate in training.
