Job summary

UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking an EEG Technical Specialist to perform neurodiagnostic procedures and progress to advanced techniques under supervision. The role supports a teaching hospital environment with opportunities to train across multiple neurodiagnostic modalities.

Ideal candidates show self-motivation, strong leadership skills, and hold one END registries. CAHEEP training and BLS certification are valued, with growth into broader technologist responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
CAHEEP approved ENT training is highly desirable.
Candidate must hold at least one END modality registry (REEGT/REPT/RNCST/RPSGT).
CLTM and/or CNIM are highly desirable.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

Perform neurodiagnostic procedures under supervision from leadership and physicians.
Advance competencies to perform neonatal EEG, EP, ICU-LTM, GRIDS, WADA, NCV, EMG as qualified.
Train to become a Technologist in all Neurodiagnostic procedures.
