Job summary

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist at Carle Health performs EEGs and related tests, preparing patients and documenting results under supervision. This role requires prior independent EEG tech experience and offers multiple shift options (7:30a-4:00p, 12:30p-8:00p, 7:00a-7:30p) with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion in Neurodiagnostic Tech or an Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience in Neurodiagnostic testing or EEG environment preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment with appropriate solutions and follows infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs and documents data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explains tests to patients to obtain optimal results and provides instructions as needed.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repair services per policy.
• Potential to perform additional neurodiagnostic tests based on competence.
