Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related neurodiagnostic studies under supervision. You will document results, explain procedures to patients, and assist with equipment maintenance to ensure accurate, high-quality data.

The role includes various shift options and opportunities for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moves of 50 miles or more.

Qualifications

Education level as listed in job posting.
Field of study: Neurodiagnostic Tech or related.
Certificate of Completion may be required.
Associate's Degree or related field may qualify.

Responsibilities

Cleans and disinfects equipment and follows infection control policies.
Completes EEGs/LTMs.
Documents data in patient chart and lab files.
Explains tests and procedures to patients for optimal results.
Performs accurate documentation.
Performs all types of EEGs (bedside, electrical cerebral silence, standard lab).
Prepares patients and provides age-appropriate explanations and instructions.
Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
Potential to perform all neurodiagnostic tests within trained competence.
Potential to notify Neuroscience physician for grossly abnormal EEG tracings.
