Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, conduct studies, and maintain equipment under supervision. Independent EEG Tech experience is required. Multiple shifts available including 7:30a–4:00p, 12:30p–8:00p, and 7:00a–7:30p.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have independent EEG tech experience as stated in the posting.
• BLS within 30 days per American Heart Association.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; adapt to changes and demonstrate technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment following infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explains tests to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs various EEGs including bedside, electrical cerebral silence and standard lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients for examinations and provides clear instructions.
