Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related studies under supervision, with emphasis on independent EEG experience previously gained. Multiple shift options available and a sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance for those moving 50+ miles.

Candidate will handle EEG/LTM procedures, document results, and explain tests to patients. Strong communication and infection control skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Formal EEG experience required.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects EEG equipment and follows infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explains tests and procedures to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs all types of EEGs including bedside and standard lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients and provides age-appropriate explanations.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Potential to perform additional neurodiagnostic tests within training.
