Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, assist with studies, and maintain equipment. This role requires prior independent EEG tech experience and offers multiple shifts (7:30a-4:00p, 12:30p-8:00p, 7:00a-7:30p) with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles.

Responsibilities include completing EEGs/LTMs, documenting results, and explaining procedures to patients to ensure optimal outcomes, while following all facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous independent EEG tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment and follows infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents data in patient chart and lab files.
• Explains tests and procedures to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs all types of EEGs including bedside, electrical cerebral silence and standard lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients for examinations and procedures, providing age-appropriate instructions.
