Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, conduct studies, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must have independent EEG tech experience and can work in multiple shifts (7:30a-4:00p; 12:30p-8:00p; 7:00a-7:30p).

A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for moving 50+ miles. Responsibilities include completing EEGs/LTMs, documenting data, explaining tests to patients, and troubleshooting equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have independent EEG tech experience reflected in application.
• Education can be a certificate in Neurodiagnostic Tech or an allied degree; or experience in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects equipment per infection control policies.
• Completes EEGs/LTMs.
• Documents patient data in charts and lab files.
• Explains tests to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Performs all types of EEGs including bedside and lab EEGs.
• Prepares patients and provides age-appropriate explanations.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Potential to perform all neurodiagnostic tests per training.
