Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Lab professional to operate EEG equipment, attach leads, and monitor patients during procedures. You will review records, instruct patients, and ensure accurate data is shared with physicians.

Qualifications include a high school equivalency or higher, BLS within 30 days, and ABRET credentials within 24 months. Preference for a credentialed neurodiagnostic program and 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• ABRET credentialing within 24 months of hire date: Electroencephalographic Technician, Intraoperative Monitoring, Evoked Potential, or Nerve Conduction Study.
• Education: high school equivalency or associate/technical degree or 4 years of applicable experience required.

Responsibilities

• Attach, connect, and operate EEG leads and electrodes.
• Review patient records, instruct patients before procedures; monitor and report abnormal findings.
• Identify artifacts; edit and forward results to physician for analysis.
• Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation credentials (multiple)
