Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indiana is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform routine EEG placements and ambulatory services, with coverage of an epilepsy monitoring unit and EMGs in the clinic. The role includes rotating on-call responsibilities for weekends, overnights, and holidays.

The candidate should have 0-2 years of relevant experience and be on a credentialing pathway (R.EEG T. or EP) with BLS certification. ACAAHEP neurodiagnostic program background is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED is required; Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Student or graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
  • Eligible pathway for R.EEG T. or EP credentialing, as recognized by ABRET, at time of hire.
  • Required to obtain R.EEG T. or EP credential within 24 months of hire.
  • Requires current BLS certification.
  • Must meet EEG competencies per department requirements if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings per guidelines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of typical neurophysiological patterns; reports findings and triages patient care needs.
  • Maintains quality recordings and is skilled in troubleshooting techniques.
