Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs, LTMs, and related studies under supervision. The role emphasizes accurate data documentation, patient instruction, and equipment troubleshooting. Independent EEG experience is required, with BLS certification within 30 days.

The position offers sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles. Shifts include 7:30a–4:00p, 12:30p–8:00p, or 7:00a–7:30p, with opportunities for growth within the neurodiagnostic

Qualifications

• Independent EEG tech experience required.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Organizational ability and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEGs/LTMs and various EEG types.
• Document data in patient charts and lab files.
• Explain tests to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Prepare patients and provide age-appropriate instructions.
• Notify Neuroscience physician for abnormal findings when needed.
• Maintain infection control and clean/disinfect equipment.
• Handle patient history and testing documentation.
• Additional duties aligned with competence and training.
