Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• Typically requires 1 year of neurodiagnostics or direct patient care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs and maintains competency in EEGs and related procedures, applying electrodes per protocol.
• Prepares patients, explains procedures, and documents results.
• Operates and calibrates equipment; troubleshoots issues and reports to supervisor.
• Performs clerical duties such as scheduling, archiving studies, and charge entry.
• Assists with mobile/inpatient EEG monitoring as site allows.
• Adheres to safety, privacy, and department policies.
