Job summary

The Boroughs Family Branch YMCA seeks a Toddler Teacher who will lead the classroom under the Supervising Lead Teacher, guiding activities and implementing a comprehensive curriculum aligned with YMCA values. You will observe each child, communicate with families, supervise assistants, and maintain safety, records, and materials to support growth and well being.

Qualifications include DEEC/NAEYC/QRIS standards, at least 18, and CPR/First Aid plus Child Abuse Prevention certifications.

Qualifications

• Meets DEEC/NAEYC/QRIS educational and experience standards.
• Must be 18 years or older and qualify for DL/education requirements.
• CPR, First Aid and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classroom and staff; ensure child safety.
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
• Conduct parent conferences and engage families as volunteers.
• Maintain records: attendance, medical, and menus.
