The Boroughs Family Branch at the YMCA is seeking an Infant Teacher to guide the classroom under the Supervising Lead Teacher and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, cultural, educational, physical and emotional growth. Strong knowledge of DEEC/NAEYC standards is essential.
The role requires planning, supervising staff, maintaining records, engaging families, and delivering quality experiences for children.

Under the supervision of the Supervising Lead Teacher, the Infant Teacher at Boroughs Family Branch, provides direction for the classroom and implements curriculum which promotes social, cultural, educational, physical and emotional growth. Provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

Job Type: Full-time (Non-Exempt)
Schedule: 40 hours weekly position. Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm
Pay: $20.50-$25.13/hr (based on education and experience) with a full benefit package to include, generous PTO, access to facilities, Medical, Dental, Disability, Life, Vision, & Pet Insurance, and ability to participate 403B Retirement Savings Plan. Also, once fully vested, the YMCA will pay into a retirement account for you!
New hires for EEC teaching positions at the Boroughs Family Branch will get a $2,000 bonus which, $500 will be paid immediately upon hire, $500 upon completion of a 90-day review, and $1,000.00 at the 180-day mark.
