The Boroughs Family Branch YMCA seeks a Toddler Teacher who will lead the classroom under the Supervising Lead Teacher, guiding activities and implementing a comprehensive curriculum aligned with YMCA values. You will observe each child, communicate with families, supervise assistants, and maintain safety, records, and materials to support growth and well being.
Qualifications include DEEC/NAEYC/QRIS standards, at least 18, and CPR/First Aid plus Child Abuse Prevention certifications.

Under the supervision of the Supervising Lead Teacher, the Toddler Teacher at Boroughs Family Branch, provides direction for the classroom and implements curriculum which promotes social, cultural, educational, physical and emotional growth. Provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring
Full-time (Non-Exempt)
40 hours weekly position. Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm
$20.50-$25.13/hr (based on education and experience) with a full benefit package to include, generous PTO, access to facilities, Medical, Dental, Disability, Life, Vision, & Pet Insurance, and ability to participate 403B Retirement Savings Plan. Also, once fully vested, the YMCA will pay into a retirement account for you!
New hires for EEC teaching positions at the Boroughs Family Branch will get a $2,000 bonus which, $500 will be paid immediately upon hire, $500 upon completion of a 90-day review, and $1,000.00 at the 180-day mark.
