Job summary

The JCC Greater Boston is seeking an EEC Certified Toddler Teacher for the JCC Early Learning Center in Hingham, MA. This full-time, salaried role offers the opportunity to support children's development within a diverse, inclusive community and to collaborate with co-teachers and center directors.

The starting salary is $39,953.33 (based on $23.05/hour for a 10-month calendar). Summer work is available through our camp program, with the final salary determined by experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• B.A. in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-teacher and center directors to develop a high-quality program.
• Ensure health, safety and security of all children.
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Document children’s interactions and experiences.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding children and families.
• Meet all EEC requirements for early education and care.
• Participate in regular planning with the co-teacher.
