Gilson JCC Early Learning Center in Sharon, MA is seeking a passionate Certified Preschool Teacher to join our professional team. You will foster educational journeys and social-emotional growth, creating a loving, supportive classroom and developing engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

This is a full-time, salaried position offering a starting salary based on a pay rate range of $23.05 to $27.95 per hour, commensurate with experience and education. EEC certification is required and an A.A.

Qualifications

• EEC Certification required.
• A.A in Early Childhood Education or B.A. in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Implement developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum.
• Communicate and document children’s interactions per best practices.
• Assess developmental stages and maintain progress records.
• Collaborate with teaching team to design emergent preschool curriculum.
• Document learning as portfolios and play-based assessments.
• Provide activities and experiences encouraging exploration through play.
• Foster physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth; support verbalization of feelings.
• Build positive relationships with families through daily communication and conferences.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality; represent JCCGB's mission.
