Gilson JCC Early Learning Center in Sharon, MA is seeking a Certified Preschool Teacher for a full-time, salaried position with a competitive starting salary based on a range of $23.05 to $27.95, commensurate with experience and education. The teacher will implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, document children's interactions, assess development, and collaborate with a teaching team to design emergent curricula.

Strong documentation and play-based assessment are required.

Formación

• Experience implementing developmentally appropriate early childhood curricula.
• Ability to communicate and document children's interactions and experiences per best practices and policy.
• Assess the developmental stages of children and maintain records, including progress reports.
• Collaborate with a teaching team to observe, document, and design emergent preschool curricula.
• Document learning as an instructional tool through portfolios, checklists, and play-based assessment.
• Provide diverse activities and experiences that encourage learning through play.
• Support each child's physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth and expression.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding children and families; reflect the JCC mission and philosophy.
