Job summary

Horace Mann seeks an Exclusive Insurance Agent to join our field sales team serving educators and their families. You will build a book of clients, present comprehensive insurance and financial products, and work to secure affordable protection and long-term security.

You'll enjoy a generous, independent contractor compensation plan (1099) with performance incentives, an exclusive territory, advanced tools, and ongoing training to help you grow your business.

Qualifications

2–5 years in insurance/financial services (preferred).
Life and Health Insurance License required.
Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

Identify and implement solutions to help educators get affordable insurance and financial security.
Build market access and strong relationships with clients.
Confidently present products to groups and individuals.
Engage in networking, community, and industry events.
Invest time/resources to ensure long-term business success.
