Job summary

Community Council Learning Academy in Philadelphia is seeking passionate, dedicated educators for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. The role emphasizes smaller class sizes and a supportive environment with half-day Wednesdays for planning and professional development.

Responsibilities include administering IEP-aligned assessments, documenting progress, leading student groups, and implementing behavior supports.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid teaching certification and be eligible to work in Philadelphia.
• Experience with IEP processes and data-driven progress reporting.
• Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and manage student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Successfully administer math and reading assessments for IEPs and progress tracking.
• Document student progress through grading systems and District requirements.
• Facilitate goal setting groups, social skills groups, and team meetings.
• Implement positive behavior support plans and accommodations for students.
• Coordinate with treatment teams and communicate weekly updates to families.
• Ensure assigned paperwork (IEPs, FBA's, ERs) is completed and filed.
• Greet students on arrival and supervise dismissal to buses or pickup.
• Attend required meetings and in-service trainings to maintain licensure.
