Job summary

LEARN Academy seeks a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. You will develop IEPs/SDI and adapt instruction to help access accommodations and opportunities for success within a collaborative school team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, working with families, and a 10-month schedule with classroom supports from a team of specialists. Arizona credentialing is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Arizona Special Education Credential required or in progress.
• Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification.
• Ability to implement safety measures per PCMA.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and SDI.
• Administer instructional activities in a positive climate.
• Identify and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Assess curricular needs and plan improvements.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, Clinical Specialists, and Administrators.
