Job summary

Shore Educational Collaborative seeks a Physical Therapist to provide educationally relevant services for students aged 3–22, ensuring access to the learning environment through mobility, posture, and functional movement within school settings.

The role involves screenings, comprehensive evaluations for eligibility, and development of IEP goals under DESE regulations and IDEA. Collaboration with families and school staff is essential to support students’ participation throughout the day.

Qualifications

• DESE regulations and IDEA knowledge
• Screening and evaluation planning
• IEP collaboration and reporting

Responsibilities

• Screening and classroom observations to identify students who may require physical therapy services and recommend next steps
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals aligned with MA frameworks and student needs
• Provide direct and indirect PT services in individual, small-group, classroom-based and consultative models
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and related services to support mobility and functional skills across home and school
