Job summary

Thrive Therapies is seeking a qualified school-based physical therapist to deliver PT services to K–12 students within the educational setting. You will evaluate gross motor function, contribute to IEP planning, and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support accessibility and participation.

Qualifications

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and educational PT model.
Ability to collaborate with multiple school-based professionals.
Experience applying evidence-based PT approaches in classrooms.

Responsibilities

Conduct school-based PT evaluations to determine educational need and eligibility.
Develop individualized PT IEP goals targeting functional mobility and participation.
Deliver direct therapy sessions using PT approaches including NDT, motor learning, gait training, and strengthening.
Evaluate for and recommend adaptive equipment and train students, staff, and families in proper use.
Maintain accurate service logs and progress notes with Thrive’s AI documentation tools.
Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and school staff on integrated IEP teams.
