Job summary

The Lafayette School Corporation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support students with disabilities across a K–12 setting for the 2026–2027 school year. This full‑time position emphasizes helping students access education by developing mobility, independence, and participation through evaluation, direct therapy, and collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana license in Physical Therapy.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.
• Eligibility to practice in Indiana.
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of special education regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' needs and develop IEP-aligned goals.
• Provide direct physical therapy services and consultations.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain documentation per Medicaid, state, and district requirements.
• Prepare evaluation and progress reports for case conferences.
