Job summary

Candor is seeking a school-based Physical Therapist in Texas to help students improve mobility and access to education. You will perform comprehensive PT evaluations, communicate findings to families and educators, and design individualized interventions aligned with IEP goals.

You will deliver direct therapy or supervise PTAs, monitor progress with accurate documentation, and participate in ARD meetings to advocate for student success and participation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active license by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tools and student-centered assessments.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents, educators, and district personnel with clear recommendations.
• Develop Interventions: Design evidence-based, individualized interventions to address student needs and goals.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver direct therapy or supervise PTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Collect and document student progress data for IEP reviews and planning.
• Support Teams: Participate in ARD meetings and MDT discussions to advocate for students.
