Job summary

Sunset Elementary in Airway Heights, WA is seeking an Instructional Paraeducator to support classroom instruction and supervision across multiple settings.

The position runs 7 hours per day, Monday–Friday, during the school year, with compensation ranging from $18.39 to $23.19 per hour depending on experience, plus potential additional pay for hygiene duties and degree-based increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Passing score (455) on state-approved Paraeducator Assessment.
• WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance.
• Current first aid/CPR card (training may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction and supervision of students in multiple settings.
• Support teachers in classrooms, cafeterias, hallways, and buses.
