Job summary

Cheney Public School District 360 is seeking an IEP Support, Instructional Paraeducator to assist in Student Support Services across Cheney, Washington. Positions are 7 hours per day with start between 7:20 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

depending on location and student needs. Compensation ranges from $18.39 to $23.19 per hour, with annualized adjustments and possible $1.00/hour for hygiene duties. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Passing score on state-approved Paraeducator Assessment or AA degree or higher or 72 quarter/48 semester credits.
• Documentation required at time of hire and background clearance.
• Must complete required trainings and have CPR/First Aid within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of teacher-designed instructional activities and routines.
• Work with individual and small groups of students.
• Supervise and model expected behaviors across settings (classrooms, cafeteria, hallways).
• Administer medications per policy and assist with hygiene as needed.
• Perform clerical duties related to instruction and maintain confidentiality.
