Job summary

Brigham Young University invites applications for a Continuing Faculty Status track faculty position in Educational Leadership and Foundations (EDLF) beginning August 1, 2027. The position will teach graduate-level courses, mentor master’s and doctoral students, and maintain an active research agenda within a faith-based, intellectually rigorous environment in Provo, UT.

The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Educational Leadership or a related field completed by the start date.
• Demonstrated excellence or clear potential in teaching graduate-level courses in educational leadership.
• Strong record or clear potential for high-quality research in school leadership.
• Demonstrated excellence or clear potential in mentoring and advising graduate students on evaluation and/or research projects.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in school leadership and education research at the graduate level, with the possibility of some undergraduate teaching.
• Mentor doctoral students in research.
• Advise doctoral degree candidates.
• Engage in high levels of research activity and publication.
