Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency in English and target language(s) with interpretation/translation experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently; maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, real-time interpretation during meetings (PPTs, parent-teacher conferences, etc.).
• Interpret spoken communication between families, educators, professionals, and other parties.
• Translate written documents between English and target language; ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Attend training to maintain high standards and stay updated on terminology and cultural competency.
• Support clear oral and written communication, and clarify information across languages as needed.
