Job summary

Colusa Indian Community Council is seeking a Community Services Supervisor to integrate services for the wellness of the community, focusing on children, families, and education. You will assist school partnerships, organize youth activities, and strengthen family engagement to promote student well-being and success.

The role requires collaboration with Education staff, mentors, and tribal members, with a focus on program quality and effective outreach to families and schools.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years post-secondary education and/or experience in a closely related field to working with children, youth, families and communities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to cooperate with others.
• Experience working with diverse populations and in a team setting.
• Willingness to multi-task and support multiple programs within Education Services.

Responsibilities

• Support tutoring and after-school activities for tribal children and youth.
• Assist Education Liaisons and staff to develop positive, caring programs.
• Coordinate/oversee education-related activities and grant opportunities where applicable.
• Document progress and communicate with families to foster student well-being and achievement.
