Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking an Education Specialist for full-time work at the Downtown Clubhouse in Las Vegas, NV. You will oversee Academic Success and Arts programs, collaborate with the Programs team, and support Clubhouse operations, including potential supervision duties.

The role emphasizes program development, reporting, grant compliance, and youth engagement. A NV driver's license is required, and the organization emphasizes safety and positive youth development.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in education/art.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and assess Academic Success programs within assigned Clubhouses.
• Collaborate with Programs team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide mentoring and enforce conduct standards as needed.
• Support operational duties and assist as acting Clubhouse supervisor when required.
• Promote programs and recruit members through outreach efforts.
