Job summary

Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington is seeking a Program Director for the Education and Workforce Development ministry to lead ESL, citizenship, and workforce training programs across the Diocese. The role partners with mission-driven leadership to ensure program quality, community engagement, and strategic alignment with CCDA values.

The position oversees day-to-day operations, grants management, staffing, and policy development, while advancing service delivery and external collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in related field.
• Grant writing and fundraising experience preferred.
• 5+ years nonprofit management experience; 1+ years supervising.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Education and Workforce Development programs and ensure quality.
• Manage grants and contracts; ensure compliance and timely reporting.
• Develop, articulate, and implement EWD policies and procedures.
• Oversee client intake processes and ensure high-quality service; pursue continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, meet targets, and set service fees.
• Supervise staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Prepare reports and collect program demographics for analysis.
• Support staff education and outreach; represent ministry at community meetings.
• Collaborate with other ministry directors to coordinate services across units.
