Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington seeks a Deputy Director to lead the department’s programs and oversee technology, financial, operational, and administrative functions in support of our mission. The role supervises up to 4 FTEs directly and up to 17 FTEs functionally, collaborating with the Executive Director to maintain fiscal and programmatic excellence.

Responsibilities include managing contracts and grants, budgeting, staffing plans, and ensuring compliance with funding

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business/finance or related field.
• 10 years of experience in a business/financial role.
• 5 years of social services program management experience.
• 3 years of experience managing grants and contracts.
• Experience leading teams and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to department programs and oversee fiscal, administrative functions.
• Supervise up to 4 FTEs and 17 FTEs in functional roles.
• Collaborate with Executive Director to ensure programmatic success and compliance.
• Develop and manage contracts, grants, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Report on department accomplishments and funding performance.
