Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Learning team and support mid-size districts in California. You will partner with district leaders to ensure a successful implementation, deliver high-quality professional development, and travel regionally to support districts as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years teaching in a K-12 setting, instructional coaching or edtech PD experience, strong presentation skills, and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5+ years of teaching in a K-12 setting; instructional coaching or edtech PD experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing professional development.
• Experience supporting district implementations preferred.
• Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative attitude and ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
• Must live near a major airport and be willing to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with district leaders to provide implementation support to mid-size districts.
• Collaborate to create and implement a professional development plan for successful implementation.
• Travel regionally to districts for in-person PD and quarterly visits (up to 60% travel at peak).
• Deliver live and virtual PD sessions to drive engagement and usage.
• Analyze data to inform decision-making and next steps.
• Support Sales in piloting IXL and exploring pre-sales opportunities.
