Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to help educators implement research-based instructional practices and technology in K-12 settings.

You will deliver virtual and in-person professional development, host national webinars, and coordinate regional IXL Live events, traveling up to 60% during back-to-school season and up to 40% later. This role is remote for Midwest-based candidates, ideally near Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• Must have a BA/BS and 5+ years teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
• Educational professional development experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude.
• Organized, methodical, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product expert and provide educators with implementation strategies.
• Plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development for schools and districts.
• Travel to facilitate in-person PD sessions – up to 60% during back-to-school, up to 40% later.
• Host regional IXL Live events and coordinate with events team.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success to support school pilots and relationships.
