Job summary

Biddeford Intermediate School is seeking Education Technicians II to support classroom instruction and manage student behavior. This role requires collaboration with classroom and special education teachers and adherence to school policies.

Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education is required, with CHRC fingerprints on file. Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required; compensation ranges from $21.70 to $32.67 per hour, contingent on education

Qualifications

• Certification as Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education is required.
• Prior classroom experience with students with special needs is preferred but not required.
• Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) with fingerprints on file is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and reinforce learning and assist in drill and practice activities.
• Participate in required workshops as requested by Building Leader, Supervisor, or Director.
• Perform non-instructional tasks including suspending students as directed.
• Assist in preparation of instructional materials and provide classroom management during drills and assemblies.
